On 12th December 2021, the Breed played at the Hobart City Mission Volunteer’s Christmas Function that was held at the Hellenic Hall in North Hobart. Thanks to everyone who came along, and congratulations to the winners of the Twist Competition. It was a great afternoon happening just before our borders opened and the subsequent reintroduction of various restrictions. Depending on what happens maybe you’ll see us at one of our Gigs in 2022. For those that weren’t there, here’s a small video grab. Stay calm and keep on dancing.
The Breed returned to Mathers House on Friday 15th October to round off the various events organised by the Hobart City Council as part of Seniors Week. This was a ticketed event and was sold out well in advance. A big thanks to everyone who came along. The weather outside may not have been the best, but inside the atmosphere was hot, with people up and dancing from the first song. It was a great end to the week slipping in just before the snap COVID lockdown for Southern Tasmania.
For those lucky enough to have secured a booking, they will be able to ring in the New Year with a dose of retro goodness from the Breed at the Italian Club in North Hobart. We wish everyone a great New Year, and hope to catch you at one of our gigs in 2021.
On 6th December the Breed played at the Hobart City Mission Volunteer’s Christmas Function that was held at the Crowne Plaza in Hobart. It was great to be back on stage partying like it was 1966 again. Thanks to everyone who came along.
Another interview with the Breed is featured in the latest e-zine from Aldora Britain Records.
Frontman Wayne Crisp returns to the pages of the magazine where Tom Hilton interviews him for issue 16 to delve into the Breed’s back catalogue. They discuss the Breed’s 2016 Long Player called “Play My Game” and 60s Pop Culture.(Pages 20-23)
A good night for everyone on Saturday 25th January. This time we were in North Hobart helping Paul celebrate his 60th Birthday. Lots of dancing, good food, and a great atmosphere. Glad we could help celebrate such an important event in style. Hope you enjoy the CD.
