The Breed are back with another 60s inspired track. This time they pay homage to the early Beach Boys sound with a slightly tongue in cheek song called “It’s Summer”. A perfect example of another dose of retro goodness from downunder that will appear on their new CD titled “That Life”.

The Breed at Blackman’s Bay
On 17 September the Breed were at Blackman’s Bay making a promo video for another of the songs that will appear on their new CD. The song is called “It’s Summer”. Everyone involved had a great time, and a special thanks to the family who gave us a round of applause from their balcony.

The Breed have been hard at work on a promotional video for a song called “Mary Mary” that will be one of the featured tracks on their forthcoming CD release. The CD is tentatively titled “That Life”, and should be available by the end of the year. Just the thing for that Christmas present for the person who has everything!

New Bass Player for the Breed
Following Steve Jay’s departure to Melbourne, the Breed carried on by using various stand-in Bass Players when gigs came up, while at the same time trying to find a person who was the right match for the band.
It’s been a long wait but we finally have the right line up. We welcome Dan Graver as the new Bass Player for the Breed. Dan has recently moved from Brisbane to Hobart and has also spent time recording and playing in Canada.
